Create Organize Respond Evaluate: C.O.R.E.
The C.O.R.E. committee provides a forum for Youth Center members (ages 14-19) to raise questions, ideas and concerns regarding Youth Center programs. This group empowers members to help plan events, discuss issues, share ideas and offer suggestions. Each Youth Center has five C.O.R.E. members who are led by a Program Director. Committee members meet bi-weekly and are an integral part of Youth Center program development.
Cambridge Neighborhood Service Project (NSP)
In partnership with the Office of Workforce Development, each Youth Center develops a community service-learning project for youth ages 14-15 years old. The program is designed as a twelve-week service-learning project with the focus on introducing young people to their community and the workforce at large.
