TUTORING CENTER / CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS
Room R319 617-349-4873
The Tutoring Center, a program of Cambridge School Volunteers (CSV), provides an environment in which all students can work toward their personal goals and can achieve academic success.
Volunteer tutors are recruited by CSV and are available before school (7:30 - 8:05 AM), during school, and after school (2:30-3:30PM) to meet with students. CRLS students are invited to apply for individual tutors in the Tutoring Center, room R319. The application process involves an
interview with the Tutoring Center manager in which academic needs and time availability are discussed. Once a student is paired with a tutor, a twice-weekly commitment is expected for as long as the student requires support.
Drop-In Math, another program of CSV, is located near the Tutoring Center. Volunteer tutors are available before school for short-term, drop-in tutoring support in all levels of Math. No
appointment is necessary. See the Tutoring Center manager for further information.
